Applications for Generators
Normal oil and filter changes for generator engines range
from 250 engine hours to 1,500 engine hours, depending upon
the type and size of the engine and oil crankcase capacity.
The Results
Since 1999, the PetroSavers Engine Oil Refiner has successfully
extended oil drains on 1197 and 2895 Waukesha generators from
300 to 500 engine hours respectively, to an unprecedented
17,000 engine hours.
The savings on 40 engines, including Caterpillar and Cummins
engines, represent a reduction of $2,400.00 per engine to
$360.00 per engine, which represents a reduction in cost of
85%, totaling $81,600 annually. This excludes labor and oil
filter disposal costs.
Because of the individual PetroSavers system approach to each
engine’s crankcase capacity, the oil in each engine
is completely refined a minimum of five (5) times per hour,
regardless of the amount of oil in the crankcase.
All PetroSavers Engine Oil Refiner element pacs and engine
oil filters will last 20,000 miles or 2,000 engine hours before
needing to be changed. |
